The site of the world’s worst nuclear meltdown is about to become a solar farm

Over 30 years ago, a radioactive release 10 times larger than the Hiroshima bomb forced hundreds of thousands of people to permanently evacuate the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. Now the abandoned site is about to start generating power again.
